Thursday Nite 12/29/05 was a near record crowd with an attendance very close to last week's all time record attendance @Goodfellas Electric Warehouse.The nite started much earlier with people pouring in at 9:30pm and creating a crowd by 10:45pm.Needless to say it was wall to wall with crowded conditions. There was a Dance contest for the ladies plus a showcase dance performance for the guys with a follow-up showcase dance performance for the ladies. Some ladies were dancing their butts off for 4-5 songs in row thinking that this 3rd event was a dance contest when in fact it was simply a showcase for the ladies wanting to show up the guys, sorry about that girls. In the future I will try to get two different dance contests approved for the ladies. Many of these people were from the Northern Tier incuding,Shen-Do,Asland,Mt Carmel,Mahanoy City Frackville and the Southern Tier including Haven,Blue Mt. School District area and Cressona.As always there were a lot of people here from Pottsville,Minersville,St Clair & the New Philly/Schuylkill Valley Area.Some of the people here were Jess and the gang from Mt Carmel,Beau from Barnesville,a large group of girls from Shen-do,Nikki & the Pottsville crew,Jeanie from Haven. Also Amber,"originally from Vegas and Edna.Thanks Amber for helping out with the dancing.
Special thanks to all of you for being so supportive of my Dance Party @Goodfellas Electric Warehouse.In spite of the crtizism that I should not move my dance party to Goodfellas and that Goodfellas would never survive the competetion,it is now apparent that the Ladies Choice Dance Party is now the Hottest Dance Party in Schuylkill County and one of the best in Eastern Pa.The security is the best that I have seen in all of my clubs.The security people have system of constant surveilance using hand signals and being at strategic places through-out the club along with Mike the owner directing security people and monitoring the crowd throughout the nite.This is all being done for your protection and to ensure that you are partying in a safe enviroment and will have a good time.The current crowds are now averaging 400-500 per week although during this holiday period the crowds have been double this amount due to college students and many people being off from work.
Regarding Liquor License:
Goodfellas will be open for business next year 2006 and our next party will be on 01/05/2006.At this time all indications are quite favorable toward Goodfellas having their Liquor License renewed in the near future. This will replace their temporary license status with a permanent license.
PS:Next week is our Regular Ladies Choice Dance Party You guys are the greatest.
