The Live Wire Lounge is quickly becoming the new Thursday Nite Hot Spot in Schuylkill County. Travel time from the Pottsville Diner on Rt-61 North of Pottsville is 7-10 minutes.There is ample parking near the entrance which means no time looking for a parking space,not to mention No Supervised parking which at some places required parking within inches of the assigned space,plus never being boxed in by another car. Based on all of the above this place is actually a time saver when compared to some other places.The consensus of many patrons is this:We love the atmosphere,plus the warm cordial welcome given to us by the owners and Live Wire staff and we will coming back every week.We were pleasantly surprised by the large number of fans coming up to the Live Wire from Pottsville,Pt Carbon,Cressona, and Haven.Percentage wise we figure 50-75% of the Southern Schuylkill County crew is traveling to the Live Wire.We expect this figure to rise a bit after the word gets around. The crowd Capacity is 500-600 people.Keep in mind at one of my other clubs the cut-off number was 550 people which was subsequently reduced to 500 people.The square footage of the place is 5,000 feet.The club was designed to use space efficiently with side counters to park you beverages and with plenty of standing room not to mention a fair number of tables. Currently the tables can seat approimately 150 people + 50 at the bar.We also have a lot of standing room which means we probaby have a slightly greater capacity than most clubs.During big events we will reduce the number of tables by 50-75% which should allow us to accommodate additional people.We will admit the maximum number of people,"within the fire code regulations".
No tolerance policy. Anyone starting a fight meaning pushing,shoving or hitting another person will be barred for life papers being served from a District Magistrate along with your name being posted on the internet on the patrons barred list.Nudity will not be allowed.this is not legal under the PLCB regulations,you will either be reprimanded and or told to leave.Please keep hands off the ladies. Some of these girls are married,engaged or have boy friends.Interested girls will let you know.These are the finest & loviest ladies in Eastern Pa,Please treat them with the utmost respect.Since you are all Gentlemen this should be an easy request.

State & Local Police: From time to time you may see police cars in the parking lot.They are here for your benefit and saftey and not to harass you.They are a friendly reminder for you to drive carefully and needless to say,"Do Not Drive Drunk",since we will provide a ride on the Boozer Cruiser. Also they will not follow you out of the parking lot since this is illegal. Please treat these officers with the utmost respect.Remember they are only doing their job.Also since the parking lot is private property,"sleeping in your car & being under the influence is not illegal",Just be sure not to run your car since there is a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.However we do prefer that you ask us for a free ride home.

The Live Wire Lounge will be creating a permanent Teen Nite Club with a name separate from the Live Wire
Including Big Screen videos,vastly expanded light show with intelligent lighting,high tech laser system
and a 50,000 watt sound system with bass capable of causing your carbonated beverage to literally boil over
on your table. There will be extensive marketing special & events such as Break Dance contests,Hard Body,Hot Body
Shake Your TailFeather,Techno Sticks Contests,Live Vidoe taping on the big screen,etc. Most of the Thursday Nite
Special events for adults will also be featured @ the Teen Nite Club.Minimum age limit for this club will be 16.
No one will admitted without school I.D.This will be your very own Teen Nite Club.We need suggestions for the name.
Keep one thing mind,What does the name look like in Print,advertising,flyers,posters,and lighted signs including neon.
Also the name cannot be long.Remember MTV,TRL,etc

Attention: All Dj Ray & Live Wire signs posted on RT-61 have been removed by an unauthorized person or persons on Thursday 10/23/2003 between the hours of 11:30pm & 2:30am on Friday 10/24/2003.There were 8 signs posted at 5 locations. Those locations were Rt-61 South bound lane 300 yards South of Fairlane Village Mall,RT-61 on hill opposite Walmart with all of the politician signs,RT-61 North bound lane 1/4 mile North of Walmart,Rt-61 North on Hill 200 yards before Schuylkill Mall entrance ramp,Rt-61 South 1/4 mile South of the Schuylkill Mall about 100 yards pass the 1st set of politician signs.Two reports have received about the type of vehicle that may been invovled.However this may have been just someone parking or sleeping in their car.If two parties were invovled then the driver would have dropped off the other person and drove around to prevent the car from being detected.If there was only one person invovled then it's very likely the car was parked along the higway near one of these locations.Pay carefull attention to signs on RT-61 South which were 200 yards South of the Schuylkill Mall. These signs were posted high and presented too much danger of exposing the perpetrater to oncoming traffic,since climbing the pole would have been made it impossible to get off the pole in time if they spotted a car coming down the grade.On this pole they used a long club or rocks to remove the sign which means they spend considerable amount of time on the embankment next to the pole.Anyone having seen a car or person walking along the side of highway or standing on the hill,please email me at music@ptd.net.Please do not post info on Guestbook Page.This was not a case of vandalism since the signs were not just knocked down or damaged,they were removed permanently to prevent the signs from being re-posted.This underhanded and unethical act was aimed at Dj Ray Productions or The Live Wire Lounge.We intend to promote the Thursday Nite Dance Party @Live Wire thur every media possible and to provide Schuylkill County with the best entertainment possible.The Live Wire Lounge and Dj Ray Productions have partnered their resources and will be promoting all types of Special Events and entertainment on a level comparable to clubs in Philly,Allentown and Harrisburg.We will be upgrading to a highly technical Intelligent and Laser Light Show combined with the latest in big screen videos and Special Effects..We intend to make this the most advanced and fun filled nite club ever in Schuylkill County.There will be one major difference though,the prices will always be affordable & without any sudden and drastic price increases or ridiculous dress code. Additional signs will be posted so please be on the look out for this to happen again.

Thursday 10/23/2003 was my 2nd nite @Live Wire Lounge with a very large turnout of regulars from the Pottsville,Pt Carbon,St Clair and Haven area + many new faces from Hazelton,Mahanoy City,Asland,Shepton, & Wilkes Barre.It was not a packed house but was probably at 75% capacity. It seems that a good percentage of the Happy Hour crowd of 125+ went hone after about 11:00pm which contributed to a much more mangegeable crowd. Birthdays being celebrated were:? If I missed any birthdays please send me an email with their names. Some of the people here were:Mt Carmel crew,bad boyz from the Tap,Jean, Ray's crew,"from the Stadium bar", including the two blondes, Crazy 8's including Jeremy,Ron,Emma & Mary,Jamie & her friend with the white hat from Haven,Jessica,Rhiannon & Sherrie from Shen-do,Kerie & Chris from Pt Carbon,& Nicki,". It was another great nite of dancing and a perfect evening.Special thanks from Dj Ray,Vj Frank,Security Staff,Bar tenders,Parking Lot attendants and & Live Wire Staff,thank you all for a wonderfull evening @Live Wire Lounge and creating soon to be Eastern Pa's foremost Thursday Nite Dance Party.You guys are as always definitely the Greatest!!!!

Feature Event:Hard Body contest for the Guys with $100 cash as the 1st prize. There were 12-13 contestants with the winner being from Shenandoah.Next Hard Body Contest,"Guys", along with a Hot Body Contest,"Girls", will be on Thanksgiving Eve Nov/26th which is a Wednesday.

After 10:00pm bottle beer goes to $2.00 a bottle,mix drinks to $2.75 for most and the Drafts remain at $1.00 for the evening.There will be no cover for the Grand Opening compliments of Dj Ray.Any nites other than the Grand Opening will feature no cover before 10:00pm for the entire evening compliments of Dj Ray. All of the above will remain in effect indefinitely.We will also be providing Van & Car service"Boozer Cruiser", for those of you not having a designated driver.Drivers will include Dj Ray,VJ Frank,Jeremy,"photographer",Live Wire Staff and volunteers from the patrons and security crew.We want you to have a great time at affordable prices and your good time is not complete until we've gotten you home safely. Please Do Not Drive Drunk.
